Rash on the cheeks and bridge of the nose sparing the nasolabial fold is called Butterfly Rash.
Causes are—
• Systemic lupus erythematosus or discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE).
• Dermatomyositis.
• Mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD).
• Sarcoidosis.
• Drug rash.
• Acne rosacea (characterized by red patch with telangiectasia on the face with papules and
pustules, which are absent in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)).
• Lepromatous leprosy.
• Post-kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis (PKDL).
